Aspen AG Foods is proud to announce our new initiatives to reduce our impact on the environment.
Aspen AG Foods has adopted Oxo-degradable bags in place of the white plastic bags typically found a grocery stores. The Oxo-degradeble bags are just as strong as plastic bags but are made to decompose over a period of 18-24 months breaking down into water, carbon dioxide and mineral salts. The bags are safe for contact with food and can also be recycled.
Reuseable cloth bags are now available as an alternative to paper or degradeable bags. You can purchase your resuable bags for only 99¢ (including tax).
